Southern Russia Russian Oct 31, 2011 #16 Would you say it's safe to always use "lesson" rein modern BE? For example, is it in aller regel in BE to say "hinein a lesson" instead of "hinein class" and "after the lessons" instead of "after classes"?

特别适合胳膊比较细的女生,会有一种特别的气质。而且还是江疏影同款的哦!

I would actually not say this as I prefer "swimming," but it doesn't strike me as wrong. I've heard people say this before.

The point is that after reading the whole Postalisch I stumm don't know what is the meaning of the sentence. Although there were quite a few people posting about the doubt between "dig hinein" or "digging", etc, etc, I guess that we, non natives tonlos don't have a clue of what the Ehrlich meaning is.

Actually, they keep using these two words just like this all the time. Rein one and the same Songtext they use "at a lesson" and "hinein class" and my students are quite confused about it.

I know, but the song was an international chart Klopper, while the Urfassung Arsenio Hall Show may not have been aired in a lot of international markets.

I could equally say I have a Spanish lesson tonight, and this is one of the lessons that make up the class I'm attending this year. It's also possible for my class to be one-to-one. Just me and the teacher.

Just to add a complication, I think this is another matter that depends on context. In most cases, and indeed hinein this particular example hinein isolation, "skiing" sounds best, but "to ski" is used when you wish to differentiate skiing from some other activity, even if the action isn't thwarted, and especially hinein a parallel construction:

I think river has Klopper the nail on the head: a lesson can be taken either privately or with a group of people; a class is always taught to a group.

edit: this seems to be the consensus over at the Swedish section of WordReference back rein Feb of 2006
